In February 5, 1985, Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro was born in a little island in Portugal called Madeira. Cristiano Ronaldo's dad was the kit manager of a local team called Andorinha. At the age of 12, he was signed to play in the youth team of Sporting CP in the capital city of Portugal, Lisbon. At the age of 17, Ronaldo debuted with the first team. He played 25 games in Sporting, one of which was a match against Manchester United, in which the Portugese team won 3-1. After being impressed with Cristiano's performance, Alex Ferguson didn't hesitate and signed Cristiano Ronaldo. In Manchester United Ronaldo's talent became truly known, and Alex Ferguson became his mentor. Ronaldo spent six years in Old Trafford, scoring 84 goals, and in 2009 transfered to Real Madrid for 80 million euros. In Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the top scorer in the history of Real Madrid, and the top scorer in the history of the Champions League. Since 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo has had the following accomplishments: 4 times UEFA Best Player in Europe, 4 times Golden ball winner, 2 times FIFA The Best Award, 1 time European Champion with Portugal, 4 times Champions League winner, 3 times English champion, 1 time English FA Cup Winner, 2 times English League Cup winner, 2 times Spanish Champion, 2 times Spanish Cup winner, 2 times Spanish Supercup winner, 3 times FIFA club World Cup Winner, 3 times UEFA Supercup winner, 1 time Portugese Supecup winner. Cristiano has scored over 600 goals in over 800 games.
